A Housekeeper will generally perform the following duties throughout a 4 hour period: In a typical 1-2-3 bedroom apartment,
2 Housekeepers will generally be required to service a 3-5 Bedroom Villa or Multi-occupancy apartment.
Change bedsheets, and make up bed with freshly laundered sheets. Clean all surrounding surfaces, either damp cloth with selected chemicals, or if wooden surfaces, with a soft lint cloth and quality furniture polish. Sweep and mop the entire room. Fold and place away any laundry lying around.
Wash tiles in shower cubicle, shower tray, and all glass doors. Clean bath, and all sinks and WC and Bidet. Shine taps and remove water stains. Arrange clean towels, clean soap trays, polish mirrors, and remove streaks. Shake bath mats, and sweep and mop entire floor, empty any bins.
Time allocated generally 1 hour
Empty any bins, remove old newspapers lying around, take glasses and cups into kitchen. Arrange cushions, puff and re-arrange back on soft lazy chairs or sofas. Clean all surfaces with appropriate solutions. Polish for wooden, soft chemicals for other surfaces, and glass. Shake rugs, and or vacuum. Sweep and mop entire area.
Time allocated generally 45 minutes
Light dusting, and or polish as appropriate sweeping and mopping.
Time allocated generally 15 minutes
Quick clean of all WC and sinks and surrounds, mirrors, sweep and mop.

Can vary depending on whether owner has dishwasher, or has left crockery, glass, pots and pans to be washed by hand. Generally will clean all surfaces, including cooker ( Owner must supply appropriate cleaning solutions especially for ceramic hobs etc) Will clean all handles, kettles, microwaves, fridges and freezers. Places crockery etc away in cupboards. Good sweep and mopping. Empty all garbage into central core services in building.
Time allocated generally 30-60 mins.
Will steam iron appropriate garments in ironing basket, hang onto hangers and place back into either master bedroom or as designated by client. ie: keep hanging in the maids/laundry room until client returns home and places them away themselves.
Time allocated generally 1hr 15 mins- 1 hr 30mins.
In general, to clean other bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms you should allocate an extra 1 hour to do so per room.
including bed sheets can take 4-8 hours depending upon how many in family, and how often heavy loads like bed sheets are in the weekly ironing basket. We have Housekeepers who specialise in laundry, and will dedicate all their time to family laundry, while another housekeepers could be cleaning the house at the same time.
Balconies generally take 1-2 hours depending on the size and amount of outdoor furniture, sand dust, and surfaces to be washed. Ie windows inside and out, and balcony railings especially collect a considerable amount of construction dust, and generally can only be washed off.
It is always advisable for the client to have a completely separate brush and mop and bucket due to the construction dust being very damaging to inside surfaces especially ceramic and marble tiles/floors. The construction dust destroys the materials in the mop head, and is therefore only recommended to be utilised outside only. We do not wash balcony floors unless a client has a separate mop head, as the residue left on mops leaves a fine silt inside on finer surfaces.
If you would like your balcony windows cleaned we can bring our own ladders, or small steps for the higher areas, and will also bring the wiper blade for streak free cleaning.
Generally this will take 15 minutes for each 4 metre drop venetian blind.
We can remove these and wash them in your washing machine, dried and laundered and hung back inside 4-6 hours.
Would include heavier degreasing of kitchen equipment, emptying fridges, and freezers, sanitising cupboards, and cutlery drawers. All cupboards are emptied carefully, sanitised, and everything placed back carefully. Where possible white goods are pulled out, and floors scrubbed underneath and surrounds.
All areas sanitised and cleaned thoroughly, especially in walk in closets where a considerable amount of human dust, skin cells, hair etc collect from new and old clothes just hanging in the closet. We can arrange suits, shirts, trousers, shoes, handbags, scarves, to be re-arranged and aligned professionally through our superior Housekeeping Service. We can arranges for any old clothes to be disposed of respectfully to charitable organisations.
Placing old food out, cleaning out of freezers, placing food appropriately in glass jars with labels, or freezer containers to enable stock rotation. Cupboards require products to be aligned, and placed appropriately with other same food items. Stock sheets made to assist client better purchasing and menu compilation.
The above life laundry assist in de cluttering, and leaves a sense of peace and harmony to any household.
Includes most of the above, including finishing off with a general clean done 4 times a year under contract. The team could consist of minimum 2 Housekeepers to a team of 5+1 ( the +1 includes the supervisor or Head Housekeeper)
Handover and continuity of service allows increased profitability to the owner, therefore we work under contract to provide a general housekeeping service on a continual basis.
Preparing the place to be left in a hygienic, and probably better condition than you received it, in order that the owner/management company will refund your deposit. If walls require re-painting, or just a general wash down, A/C vents cleaned to high standard to eliminate and remove cigarette, or animal pollutants. We will provide you with a job order completed to give to the concerned parties, to enable them to understand how much you have done to bring the place back to a clean environment suitable for re-letting.
